Fully lined with rolled edges – Stephens saddle half pad combines the therapeutic properties of treated, pure sheepskin fleece with a cotton quilt backing. This is a very popular sheepskin pad.

Use between your saddle and a thin saddle cloth for maximum benefit and minimum washing. Additionally, can be used directly on the back to keep muscles warm and efficient.

Natural sheepskin fleece wicks away sweat, avoiding possible rubs. Furthermore, this half pad design keeps you close to your horse – preserving feel whilst helping you both perform.

Stephens Sheepskin Half pad

Stephens Sheepskin Half Pads are made from the best quality Australian lambswool, and comes in a wide range of colours.

If you care about your horse’s comfort when riding, choose Stephens –  the products can help combat saddle slipping, and offer shock absorption too.

For washing the sheepskin saddle pads we would advise a warm hand wash. Lay it in the bath and slosh from side to side with a specialist wool detergent.

Then dry it flat somewhere warm (but not too hot as it can shrink wool)
