CoolFit XC saddle pad, the Intelligent Pad that keeps your horse cooler. ECOGOLD’s CoolFit XC Saddle Pad combines a flexible shock absorption system with smart textiles, the most advanced moisture management and heat dissipation technology. Made with smart textiles, a CoolFit™ underside layer and unique air-flow vent system, ECOGOLD’s CoolFit Saddle Pad is engineered to quickly dissipate heat and moisture away from the horse’s body, providing a more comfortable ride.

Adapts to provide best saddle fit and impact protection. Comes with 2 removable inserts: 1/2″ open cell high impact foam and 1/2″ Airflow spacer that can be combined or used by themselves for the ideal impact protection and saddle fit without the need for additional layers. Front and back shims can also be used inside this pad.

Thirty years ago, Ecogold embarked on a mission to modernize the saddle pad. They wanted to improve your horses’ safety, comfort and performance. Ecogold has continued to be at the forefront of innovation.
The company was founded by John Da Silva, a textile engineer trained in Europe. He worked in high-tech fabrics since the early 1960s and is credited for developing the now popular cross-country saddle pad shape. This reduced the surface covered by a pad to allow eventing horses to stay cooler.

A FAMILY BUSINESS

Now run by John’s daughter, Patricia Da Silva, Ecogold continues to be committed to putting the horse’s welfare first – always – and creating innovative, new western & english saddle pad designs with ethical and sustainable measures top of mind.

The Flip Half Pad Matte – which debuted in 2020 – is the first saddle pad of its kind to be vegan and ethically produced.

MADE IN MONTREAL

The Ecogold factory is based in the Côte-des-Neiges district of Montreal, one of the most culturally diverse neighborrhoods in Canada.
