This fab product will help your horse be comfy and relaxed, and is long enough to cover the main muscles of the back.

The Backwarmer is battery operated and combines heat along the top section with Fir-tech carbon infused fabric across the whole pad.

Perfect for use before and after exercise, the back warmer reaches its core temperature in just a few minutes, providing constant long-wave infrared heat which soothes, comforts and relaxes the muscles and connective tissue.

Catago’s Fir Tech Pro products work with Active Carbon fibres and are particularly suitable for use with tendons, joints and muscles. The purpose is to stimulate and promote the self healing processes, that are always present within the body.

It has been shown that the effects of active longwave infrared radiation significantly help to increase the blood flow and reduce tension in muscles.

These relaxing properties of Active long- wave radiation make the Fir-Tech pro products very suitable to be used for sport, wellness and relaxation.

The Catago fir-tech pro backwarmer has 3 different heat settings so you can choose the best experience for your horse.

Battery included. Please charge the battery for 12 hours before first use and regularly charge to optimise battery life.

RECOMMENDED USE In just a few minutes, the active infrared unit reaches its core temperature and provides constant long-wave infrared heat which is very pleasant, comforting and relaxing for muscles and connective tissue. The device has an integrated button and the Active Infrared heat can be adjusted in ~3~ levels to ensure the most convenient experience. It can be used before of after any strain is placed on the tissue in order to achieve regeneration.

~ Preparation before riding – ‘Pre-heating’ the tissue: High Level (Red) 15-20 minutes

~ Relaxation of tissue after riding –  Medium Level (Blue) up to 30 minutes – up to 2 times daily

~ General use/wellness Medium to High Level – 15-30 minutes – up to 2 times daily

When using the lowest level (Green) the application can be used up to 40 minutes.

What is FIR-tech?

FIR-tech is short for Far Infrared Rays Technology. All CATAGO Fir-Tech healing products are lined with a multifunctional Far Infrared Polyester fabric. In the production process of the FIR-Tech fabric a special ceramic powder is added to the melting polyester, creating a fusion of the materials.
