Incrediwear Product Reviews

Pete wants to see if bad knees from years of playing rugby can be helped by this sleeve!
Pete tried and tested the Incrediwear Knee Sleeve.
After suffering for years with bad knees from playing rugby I was intrigued to try the Incrediwear Knee Sleeve from the Comfy Horse Company. First impressions? The quality felt great and I particularly liked the colour, as a lot of these sleeves you come across are very light in colour!
I wore the knee sleeve for 24 hours, including while in bed, and was impressed how it stayed in place the whole time. Others I’ve tried tend to slip down over longer periods! My knee felt well supported and I think it will be a great product to keep handy.
I often twist my knee from time to time, which causes swelling, and when/if I play rugby again I feel I will have that extra support wearing it, which is great.
Why else would I choose this knee sleeve over any other? I like the science behind it; the Incrediwear Knee Sleeve is embedded with active elements (carbon and germanium) which work with body heat to increase circulation, reduce inflammation, and relieve pain and stiffness to accelerate recovery.

As the old saying goes, ‘no foot, no horse’, so how did these Hoof Socks help a horse with foot problems?
Amy tried and tested the Incrediwear Equine Circulation Hoof Socks on one of her horses.
One of my horses was recently having some foot problems. Having heard great things about Incrediwear products, I decided to try the Circulation Hoof Socks.
I’ve been using the Hoof Socks for around three weeks now. They are really easy to use, they fit well and don’t bother my horse. You can leave them on their own or bandage over the top for overnight use, and because they are not based on compression they can be used for 24 hours.
The Socks are machine washable, so easy to keep clean when needed. A handy little tip I have learnt is, if you’re using the Hoof Socks and your horse has shoes on, cover the nail heads with a line of duct tape, that way you won’t pull any material on the Socks.
They can be used to help treat laminitis, navicular, deep digital flexor tendon lesions and pastern injuries, as well as during prolonged periods of box rest. They can also aid hoof growth in ‘bad footed’ horses, such as those with ‘shelly’ feet, slow hoof growth, quarter cracks or contracted heels.
I’m really pleased with my purchase and I will continue to use them on all my horses for any issues I feel they will help.

Katie and her horse Jake put the Hoof Socks to the test after exercising…
Katie tried and tested the Incrediwear Equine Circulation Hoof Socks.
My horse Jake often suffers from windgalls and filled legs, especially when stabled and when the ground is hard. I tend to put the Socks on in the morning, and within a few hours, the inflammation has drastically gone down, or completely gone.
When dry, the Socks can be left on for up to 24 hours at a time. If his legs are particularly filled, or if he has had an intense exercise session, they can be used wet.
Putting the socks in cool water provides a cooling effect on the horse’s legs. However, for me, the most exciting thing is when you put them in hot water! Put them in for two minutes then give them a minute to stand and they become ice cold! It is recommended that you leave them on for up to an hour when wet, which I did, and they were still really cold and had done a fantastic job of leaving Jake’s legs cool after a hard jump session.
I think this sort of design will be a lifesaver at shows. No more trying to keep ice packs cool all day!
They can be tricky to put on to start with, but I found after a few attempts they’re quick and simple to do. They have quite a bit of stretch and I can easily get them over my shod 17hh Warmblood’s big feet! I scrunch them up, pull them up to his knees and then back down again to where I need them, just so his hair lies flat. To remove, I just scrunch them back up and pull them off! If you have a horse that is particularly fidgety, or want something you can exercise in, then a bandage version is also available.
